For the third-straight day, Los Angeles County has reported over 40,000 positive cases of COVID-19, and with 66 additional deaths reported on Saturday, Los Angeles County's death toll due to the Coronavirus pandemic has surpassed 28,000. The reported total is also the most since April 2021.
