16 people killed in “massive” air strikes on Kherson – Ukrainian authorities

Russian strikes in the southern Ukrainian region of Kherson killed at least 16 people on Wednesday, including 12 in the main town of the same name, according to the regional prosecutor’s office, while the authorities announced a curfew from Friday evening.

“The death toll has risen to 16,” the prosecutor’s office said on Telegram, adding that “about 22” other people were “injured to varying degrees”.
