An F-18 fighter jet crashed during a flight demonstration training at an air force base in Zaragoza, Spain, on May 20. The pilot managed to eject himself seconds before the aircraft exploded at the military base’s premises, suffering injuries to his legs due to ejecting his parachute from a low altitude, according to Spain’s Guardia Civil.
