Turkish First Lady Emine Erdogan chaired the first meeting of the UN Zero Waste Advisory Board on July 27. The board was created following the unanimous adoption of a resolution on zero waste submitted by Turkiye to the UN last year, and consists of 13 experts and policymakers who share best practices in a bid to promote local and national zero-waste initiatives.
