Budapest: Captain sentenced to 5 years in prison for role in 2019 boat crash that killed 27 people

The Mermaid sightseeing boat carrying a tour group sank seconds after colliding with the bigger Swiss-registered Viking Sigyn river cruise vessel on 29 May 2019.

The body of a 28th victim was never found.
