Polls in Bangladesh have closed in parliamentary elections guaranteed to give a fifth term to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The Bangladesh Nationalist Party, who are the main opposition, is boycotting the election. The party organised a 48-hour general strike in protest at what it called a 'sham'.
