‘’We, as South Africans, sense, see (…) the practices of the Israeli regime as an even more extreme form of the apartheid’' Representatives of South Africa opened the second day of hearings at the International Court of Justice in the Hague. The hearing follows a request by the UN General Assembly in 2022 for an advisory, non-binding opinion on the legal implications of Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territories. More than 50 states will present arguments until February 26. Subscribe: http://trt.world/subscribe
