More than 500 girls, mothers hit Whittier Narrows for Girls on the Run 5K

Hundreds of girls, their mothers and even their teachers hit the Whittier Narrows on Saturday for the Girls on the Run 5K, which is held in hopes of teaching young girls to challenge their limits.
