What Does the UN Srebrenica Resolution Mean for the Stability of the Balkans?

This month, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the resolution to establish an annual day to commemorate the 1995 Srebrenica genocide and to condemn any denial of genocide as a historical event. Germany and Rwanda co-led the negotiations on the text, and more than 40 countries sponsored it. The resolution clarifies the responsibility for the genocide is personal and not attributed to any ethnic or other group.

However, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic claims it unfairly targets all Serbs and declares them a genocidal nation.
