
At the Pre-COP29 in Baku, world leaders addressed the escalating climate crisis and called for urgent action to limit global warming to 1.5°C.
The event focused on scaling up climate finance and fostering international cooperation, which are critical to stabilizing rising temperatures. With COP29 just around the corner, the need for a unified global response was clear.
The COP Troika’s role in ensuring continuity between presidencies was highlighted, as well as ambitious climate goals such as scaling up clean energy and phasing out fossil fuels.
