Van Nuys based pilot killed during mid-air crash at Reno air racing event

Chris Rushing is one of the two pilots that were killed during a mid-air collision at the 2023 National Championship Air Races in Reno early Sunday afternoon. Rushing's home base was Van Nuys Airport.
