‘Safe passage’ for Gazans being discussed
Washington is talking with Israel and Egypt about a humanitarian corridor for Gaza civilians as Israeli bombs continue to rain down on the Palestinian enclave.
“We are focused on this question, there are consultations going on,” US national security adviser Jake Sullivan told reporters at the White House.
Sullivan did not give more information, saying only that discussions “among the operational agencies” were happening.
