In Gaza, the ground battle between Israeli troops and Hamas members is grinding on, as international alarm increases over the desperate humanitarian situation. More than 11-thousand Palestinians have been killed so far, mostly civilians. Around 40 percent of them are children. Al-Shifa hospital is 'nearly a cemetery', according to the World Health Organisation. Gaza's Health Ministry said on Monday that 32 patients had died in the previous three days, including three newborns, because of the siege and a lack of power. In the midst of all this, US President Joe Biden has said hospitals must be protected, appealing for what he called, 'less intrusive action' on the part of the Israeli army.
