France won bronze medal in the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup after beating Australia 67-59 in Sunday’s third place match.
French point guard Nando De Colo was the top scorer of the game. The Fenerbahce Beko star produced 19 points at the Beijing Wukesong Sport Center, China.
Another French guard, Evan Fournier scored 16 points for “Les Bleus” (The Blues).
Australian small forward Joe Ingles tallied 17 points in Beijing. His teammate Patty Mills scored 15 points against France.
Following the Sunday’s victory over Australia, France returned home with bronze medal.
Beijing is set to host the 2019 World Cup final on Sunday as Argentina and Spain will face each other to win the world title.
The final will tip off at 8 p.m. local time in China (1200GMT).
