ANKARA
Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor was defeated by Spain’s Getafe 1-0 in their first game in UEFA Europa League.
In a Group C match at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez Stadium, Getafe’s Spanish forward Angel Luis Rodriguez scored in the 18th minute and this goal brought the victory to his team 1-0.
In the other match in the group, Switzerland’s Basel hammered Russia’s Krasnodar 5-0 at the St. Jakob-Park stadium.
In the second games in a Group C, Trabzonspor will host Basel, while Krasnodar will face Getafe in Russia on Oct. 3.
