MOSCOW
Russia on Thursday called “unacceptable” the new U.S. sanctions against Moscow.
“This is, apparently, a continuation of the old American policy, which is based on unilateral sanctions, which we consider absolutely unacceptable,” Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin told reporters on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
Earlier, the U.S. administration had blacklisted five Russian vessels, one company and three individuals for what it said delivery of fuel to Syria.
