Trabzonspor beat Besiktas 4-1 in Turkish Super Lig


Trabzonspor beat Besiktas 4-1 in Sunday’s Turkish Super Lig match at Medical Park Stadium in the Black Sea city of Trabzon.

Dorukhan Tokoz’s own goal gave Trabzonspor the lead in the 31st minute 1-0.

Former Besiktas midfielder Jose Sosa from Argentina doubled his team’s lead against his former club three minutes before the first half ended 2-0.

In the second half, Trabzonspor’s Norwegian forward Alexander Sorloth found the net in the 66th minute 3-0.

Besiktas’s only goal came from Turkish international forward Guven Yalcin 13 minutes after Sorloth’s.

After Anthony Nwakaeme from Nigeria scored a goal in the 88th minute, the game ended 4-1.

Besiktas have gone winless in their last four games in the Turkish Super Lig, leaving them only five points.

Following tonight’s victory, Trabzonspor are in fourth place with nine points.
