Turkey bag first gold medal in Artistic Gymnastics WC

ANKARA

Turkey on Saturday won its first ever gold medal at the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2019 in Germany’s Stuttgart.  

In the men’s rings final, the 24-year-old athlete Ibrahim Colak got 14,933 points and won the gold medal for his country.

Colak finished the competition at first just 0.033 points ahead of Marco Lodadio from Italy.

Turkish athlete also qualified to compete in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games with this win.
