Turkey’s benchmark stock index ended the day down 5.10% to close at 93.981,39 points on Monday.
Starting the first day of the week at 1,048.24 points, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index fell 5,046.43 points from 99,027.82 points at Friday’s close.
An ounce of gold sold for $1,492.16 at the close on Borsa Istanbul’s Precious Metals and Diamond Market, versus $1,488.7 at the previous close.
The price of Brent oil was $58.81 per barrel as of 6.30 p.m. local time (1530GMT) on Monday, with a day range of $58.52 to $60.70.
At the beginning of 2019, a barrel of Brent oil sold for around $53.
