Starting the day at 98,799.33 points, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index increased 1,898.8 points from 97,886.36 points at Tuesday’s close.
An ounce of gold sold for $1,490.00 at the daily close in Borsa Istanbul’s Precious Metals and Diamond Markets, versus $1,486.40 at the previous close.
The price of Brent oil was $60.28 per barrel as of 6 p.m. local time (1500GMT) on Wednesday — with a day range of $58.86 to $60.38.
