Turkey’s benchmark stock index ended the day up 0.56% to close at 100.447,23 points on Thursday.
Starting the fourth day of the week at 100,447.23 points, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index increased 560.48 points from 99,785.16 points at Wednesday’s close.
An ounce of gold sold for $1,490.30 at the weekly close in Borsa Istanbul’s Precious Metals and Diamond Markets, versus $1,490.00 at the previous close.
The price of Brent oil was $61.34 per barrel as of 6.30 p.m. local time (1530GMT) on Thursday — with a day range of $ 60.64 to $61.73.
At the beginning of 2019, a barrel of Brent oil sold for around $53.
