Turkish top-tier football division Super Lig leaders Aytemiz Alanyaspor want to remain on top in the league, a fairy tale still goes on for the Mediterranean team.
Alanyaspor will face Trabzonspor on Sunday in Week 11 of Super Lig, a critical match for both sides.
The Super Lig leaders had 19 points in the league table, meanwhile Trabzonspor, who are in the fifth spot, earned 16 points in 10 matches.
Home team Trabzonspor seek a morale-boosting win against Alanyaspor after being eliminated from the UEFA Europa League on Thursday.
One of the biggest clubs in Turkey, Trabzonspor will face Alanyaspor at Medical Park Stadium on Sunday as the game kicks off at 1330GMT.
The opening match of the week 11 will be between two Istanbul teams, Fenerbahce and Kasimpasa.
Friday’s match will be held Fenerbahce’s home, the Ulker Stadium at 1730 GMT.
Title contenders Fenerbahce currently sit in the fourth spot with 17 points, after getting a shocking loss to underdogs Kayserispor last week.
Separately Kasimpasa managed to earn a 2-2 draw against Yeni Malatyaspor thanks to a stoppage time goal last weekend. The Navy-Whites ranked 11th with 12 points.
