Boston Celtics toppled Charlotte Hornets 108-87 in Thursday’s NBA match to extend winning streak to six games.
Celtics lost their season opener to the Philadelphia 76ers 107-93 but won six matches in a row.
With a 6-1 win/loss record, Celtics topped the Eastern Conference standings.
Gordon Hayward was one of the key players for Celtics’ victory in Charlotte, scoring 20 points, taking 10 rebounds and making six assists.
Celtics star Jayson Tatum scored 23 points and had nine rebounds.
It was also Kemba Walker’s first match against the Hornets, as he became a Celtics player in the summer, after spending 8 years with Charlotte teams, the Bobcats and the Hornets.
Walker scored 14 points and dished out 6 assists in 29 minutes of action.
Hornets forward Miles Bridges tallied 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Devonte’ Graham produced 15 points and nine assists for Hornets.
