Turkey’s benchmark stock index closed the day at 103,972.36 points on Tuesday, up 0.83% from the previous close.
Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index started the day at 103,452.32 points. As of the daily close, it rose 853.88 points from Monday’s close of 103,118.48 points.
The price of one ounce of gold was around $1,455.60 by market close, down from $1,465.30 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul’s Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was around $62.60 per barrel as of 6 p.m. (1500GMT) on Tuesday.
