Fenerbahce Beko forward Nikola Kalinic will undergo surgery on Monday after breaking his nose during Sunday’s basketball match against Darussafaka Tekfen.
The Serbian forward will have the operation on Monday, Fenerbahce Beko said in a statement.
Fenerbahce Beko won their fourth consecutive game in the ING Basketball Super Lig by beating Darussafaka Tekfen 83-75 on Sunday.
Nikola Kalinic was the highest scorer for Fenerbahce Beko with 14 points in the Ulker Sports Arena.
In EuroLeague this season, in nine matches the Serbian forward averaged 5.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game.
Fenerbahce Beko have a 3-7 win/loss record in EuroLeague so far, a disastrous season for coach Zeljko Obradovic’s side, with the 2017 EuroLeague champions now occupying 16th place in the standings.
