Los Angeles Clippers defeated New Orleans Pelicans 134-109, getting their 5th straight win on Sunday night.
Clippers’ power forward Montrezl Harrell was the top scorer of the game, scoring a career high 34 points and added 12 rebounds off the bench at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Two more players scored double-digit points for the Clippers, small forward Kawhi Leonard produced 26 points and point guard Lou Williams scored 19 points.
For the losing side, neither small forward Brandon Ingram’s 24 points and eight rebounds, nor point guard Jrue Holiday’s 18 points and seven rebounds performance were enough for the Pelicans.
Doncic continues with dominant performance
In another Sunday game, Dallas Mavericks beat Houston Rockets 137-123 to gain their fifth win in a row this season.
Mavericks’ Slovenian player Luka Doncic dominated the game with 41 points, 10 assists and six rebounds at the Toyota Center.
Dallas’ point guard Tim Hardaway helped his team with 31 points, while power forward Kristaps Porzingis scored 23 points.
For Houston Rockets, point guard James Harden produced 32 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds but his effort could not avoid the loss for his team.
Meanwhile, Doncic, 20, became the second youngest player — behind Kevin Durant — in NBA history, scoring 30-plus points in four straight games.
