Recent moves by the Bosnian-Serb leadership to pursue legal secession from Bosnia and Herzegovinia, coupled with a surge in hostilities in northern Kosovo, pose an alarming risk of triggering turmoil in the Balkans, potentially igniting ethnic tensions.
