Former All-Euroleague and NBA guard Malcolm Hakeem Delaney transferred to Spain’s Barcelona for one season with the option to stay until 2021.
The 30-year-old guard “will play for Barca for one season through to 30 June 2020, with the option to stay until 2021,” the Spanish club announced in a statement on Thursday.
In 2016, Delaney joined the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA and he still played 127 games averaging 5.7 points.
After two years in Atalanta, he spent the 2018/19 season with Guangdong Southern Tigers in China, playing 37 games with 19.4 points.
