ANKARA
A Ukrainian Antonov-12 cargo airplane made an emergency landing near the western city of Lviv on Friday, the country’s Infrastructure Ministry said.
According to preliminary information, the plane landed with fatalities, the ministry said in a statement, without giving further details.
It added that the plane was forced to make an emergency landing because it ran out of fuel.
Authorities are investigating the incident, the ministry added.
